Antibiyotiler ve Anajezikler, Ne Zaman ? Nerede?

Diş hekimliğinde en sık kullanılan ilaçlar olan antibiyotikleri ve anajezikleri gerçekten de bilinçli ve güvenli kullanabiliyor muyuz sorusu tartışılacaktır. Akılcı antibiyotik kullanımı prensibi doğrultusunda uygun molekülü, uygun dozda ve uygun sürede nasıl kullanılması gerektiğine değinilecektir. Tedavi amacıyla reçete edilen bu ilaçların diğer organlar üzerine olumsuz etkileri ve bu etkilerin en aza indirilmesi hususunda dikkat edilmesi gereken uygulamalar anlatılacaktır.

2000 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinden mezun olan Mehmet Ali Erdem 2006 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Ağız Diş ve Çene Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalında doktora eğitimini tamamlayarak Dr.Med.Dent ünvanını aldı. 2012 yılında Doçentlik sınavında başarılı olup Doçent ünvanını aldı. 2020 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Ağız Diş ve Çene Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalında Profesörlük kadrosuna atandı. Halen aynı Anabilim Dalında Profesör Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Özel ilgi alanları Dental Anesteziler ve Odontojenik Enfeksiyonlar olan Prof.Dr.Mehmet Ali Erdem ilgili konularda birçok konferans ve seminer vermiştir.

Antibiotics and Analgesics, When? Where?

In this topic, the question of whether we can use antibiotics and analgesics, which are the most frequently used drugs in dentistry, consciously and safely will be discussed. Also, in line with the principle of rational antibiotic use, it will be mentioned how to use the appropriate molecule at the appropriate dose and at the proper time. In addition, the negative effects of these drugs prescribed for treatment on other organs and the measures to be taken to reduce these results will be discussed.

Mehmet Ali Erdem earned his dental degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000, and in 2006 he received his PhD from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same institution. In 2012, he succeeded in the Associate Professorship exam and received the title of Associate Professor. In 2020, he was appointed as a professor at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is still working in the same Department as a Professor Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Erdem, whose special interests are in Dental Anesthesia and Odontogenic Infections, has presented at numerous conferences and seminars on related topics.
