Anterior Kompozit Restorasyonlarda Güncel Bitim ve Cila Uygulamaları

Bu sunumda, anterior kompozit restorasyonların uzun dönemde estetik ve fonksiyonel özelliklerini koruyabilmeleri için önemli basamaklardan olan bitim ve cila işlemlerinin güncel uygulamaları anlatılacaktır. Klinik pratiğinde zaman ve emek tasarrufu ile sonuçlanacak bitim ve cila prosedürleri ile kompozit restorasyon yüzeylerine primer, sekonder ve tersiyer anatominin yansıtılması sunumun içeriği dahilindedir.

Özgeçmiş

Günçe Ozan, diş hekimi ünvanını 2011 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi'nden almıştır. Akabinde aynı üniversitenin Restoratif Diş Tedavisi Anabilim Dalı'nda hemen doktora eğitimine başladı. 2017 yılında Dr. Med. Dent ünvanını aldı. Türk Dişhekimleri Birliği Genç Diş Hekimleri Komisyonu'nda 2 yıl çalıştı. Akademik kariyerine İstanbul Üniversitesi'nde devam eden Günçe Ozan yakın zamanda Doçent unvanını aldı. Aynı zamanda restoratif diş hekimliği klinik öncesi eğitim programının sorumlu öğretim üyesidir. TDA-Akademi işbirliği ile dental materyaller ve indirekt kompozit restorasyon uygulamaları üzerine düzenlenen uygulamalı kurslara yardımcı öğretim görevlisi olarak katılmıştır. Restoratif diş hekimliği alanındaki belirli konularda uluslararası/ulusal indeksli dergilerde 30 bilimsel makalesi, dört kitap bölümü ve iki bölüm çevirisi bulunmaktadır. Restoratif Diş Hekimliği ve IADR derneklerine üyedir. Halen diş erozyonunun önlenmesi ve dental biyomateryallerin etkinlikleri üzerine çalışmaktadır.

Current Finishing and Polishing Procedures of Anterior Composite Restorations

In the present session, current applications of finishing and polishing processes, which are important steps for anterior composite restorations to preserve their aesthetic and functional properties in the long term, will be explained. The reflection of primary,secondary and tertiary anatomy on the surfaces of composite restorations by finishing and polishing procedures that could save time and effort at clinical practice is also a part of the content of the session.

Gunce Ozan received her DDS degree in 2011 from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University, Turkey. She immediately started her PhD at the Restorative Dentistry Department of the same university. After studying dental erosion and preventive dentistry in her thesis, she earned her Ph.D. degree in 2017. She has worked at the Young Dentists' Commission of the Turkish Dental Association for 2 years. She is now continuing her career at Istanbul University and recently has gained her degree as an Associate professor. She is also the head lecturer of the restorative dentistry program of preclinical education. She has participated as an auxiliary lecturer at hands-on courses cooperated by the TDA-Academy on dental materials and applications of indirect composite restorations. She has 30 scientific articles in internationally/nationally indexed journals, four book chapters and two chapter tranlations on certain topics in restorative dentistry. She has a membership in the Turkish Restorative Dentistry Association and IADR. She is currently working on the prevention of dental erosion and structures of biomaterials.
