Esthetic and Functional Analyses for Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Wax-up, Mock-up and Making Different Silicone Indexes
Esthetic and functional analyses in porcelain lamina veneers help the dentist in evaluating the patient's current condition and realising their expectations. Wax-up and mock-up applications guided by the analyses provide in the planning of the treatment, preparation, colour and material selection, making of the temproray lamina and determination of the final restoration. In addition, it is possible to control adequate and minimal tooth preparation for porcelain lamina veneers with different silicone indexes easily prepared from wax-up models in the clinic. In our course, esthetic and functional analyses on cases will be explained in detail. The dental technician will demonstrate the wax-up application prepared for a case considering of the analyses. Mock-up and different silicone indexes will be made on the 3D-printed models of the case.
Learning objectives
- Evaluation of functional and aesthetic analyses
- Application of mock-up on 3D-resin models
- Making different silicone indexes using 3D-resin models
CURRENT PERSPECTIVES IN ESTHETIC DENTISTRY: Management of diastema cases
Full ceramic crowns and porcelain laminate veneers, both of which are considered as indirect restorations, are frequently employed in the management of diastema. They have demonstrated significant success in fulfilling esthetic demands and preserving the harmony between the teeth and soft tissue. This discussion will cover considerations ranging from tooth preparation techniques to the selection of appropriate porcelain material type for these restorations.
