Gunce Ozan received her DDS degree in 2011 from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University, Turkey. She immediately started her PhD at the Restorative Dentistry Department of the same university. After studying dental erosion and preventive dentistry in her thesis, she earned her Ph.D. degree in 2017. She has worked at the Young Dentists' Commission of the Turkish Dental Association for 2 years. She is now continuing her career at Istanbul University and recently has gained her degree as an Associate professor. She has participated as a lecturer at hands-on courses cooperated by the TDA-Academy on dental materials and applications of indirect composite restorations. Between January- April 2024, she has continued her studies at CEU-University of Cardenal Herrera, Valencia alongside with Prof. Salvatore Sauro. She has 30 scientific articles in internationally/nationally indexed journals, four book chapters and two chapter tranlations on certain topics in restorative dentistry. She has a membership in the Turkish Restorative Dentistry Association and IADR. She is currently working on the prevention of dental erosion and structures of biomaterials.
Color Selection in Aesthetic Restorations: Compatibility of Materials and Tooth Structures
Selection of the color is one of the most complicated steps of anterior esthetic restorations. Unmatching color may lead to renewal or replacement of the restorations resulting in loss of time and effort. As many material options are on the market and becoming challenging for clinicians, it is beneficial to dive into more of the harmony between the structures and the current materials utilizing clinical cases.
