Four-Handed Dentistry in Endodontic and Restorative Treatments
Four-handed dentistry is one of the most important operation way of modern dentistry. This approach streamlines the treatment process and optimizes the roles of the dentist and the assistant during procedures, making treatments more efficient. It also adheres to the principles of ergonomics in dentistry, minimizing physical fatigue and stress, thereby improving long-term health. However, many dentists today often do not incorporate this practice into their clinical routines, working under non-ergonomic conditions and stress.
Effectively adopting and incorporating this approach into clinical routines can lead to significant improvements in treatment quality and the health of the dentist and auxiliary staff.
The aim of this presentation is to highlight the importance of implementing four-handed dentistry practices, especially in endodontic and restorative treatments, along with modern technology, and to understand its impact on the clinician's long-term success.
