Dr. E. Alper Sinanoglu obtained his degree in dental medicine from Marmara University of Istanbul, in 2000. Subsequently, he attained his PhD degree in in Health Sciences at Marmara University in the field of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology, in 2007. In 2009, he accepted the position of the Founding Head of the Department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology at Kocaeli University. Since then, Dr. Sinanoglu works as a lecturer and an attending physician in his department. He acquired his Associate Professor degree in 2017. His interests in Oral Medicine and CBCT technologies has led him to numerous projects in his field. Dr. Sinanoglu is well regarded in his field, lectures in various meetings, delivers hands on courses on CBCT and is a keynote speaker nationwide.
Seeing the Unseen: An Update of CBCT Perspective in Complications and Managements
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) has become one of the most important diagnostic tools in dentistry. Regarding the broad use of CBCT in the dentomaxillofacial region, this presentation will pursue with an overview of its potential in assessment of various complications and the process of their managements in clinical practice. During the presentation, cases will be analyzed from CBCT perspective with a watchful interpretation and will be discussed within the scope of updates and advancements in oral and maxillofacial radiology.
