She was born in 1986 in Ankara, Turkey. In 2009, she graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry. She ran a dental clinic between 2010-2011. In 2011, she started her PhD education at Department of Restorative Dentistry, Hacettepe University. In 2016, she presented her doctoral thesis on "Evaluation of tooth wear and associated risk factors: a matched case-control study" and received her PhD degree. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 2019 and Associate Professor in 2022 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry. She still continues her studies in the same department. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry, the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and the Organization for Caries Research (ORCA). She has international and national scientific publications on tooth wear, current adhesives and adhesion in dentistry, laser applications in restorative dentistry, tooth whitening and resin composite restorations.
