He has been teaching courses particularly on removable prosthodontics in the Dental Prosthesis Technology Program since 2006. He carried out the prosthetic courses at IU-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Dentistry, where he served as Vice Dean during the establishment phase, until the Department of Prosthodontics was established. He is a member of the “Prosthetics Academy and the Gnathology Association”.

Rigid, semi-rigit and removable attachments for tooth and implant retained prosthesis. Popular systems and their applications. The subject will be presented regarding the selection criteria for precision attachments and the application protocols will be demonstrated.

Learning objectives

  • To explain the possible movements of removable partial dentures in the mouth and their effects on the selection of precision atttachments.
  • To learn the relevant protocols for the integration of precision retainers used for removable partial dentures into the framework design.
  • To learn the indications of systems that can be removed by the patient or the dental practitioner, depending on the case.
