Dr. Birtan Tolga Yilmaz, DDS, is the Clinical Research Coordinator at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. As a member of the Giannobile Lab, Dr. Yilmaz undertakes extensive preclinical and clinical research focused on oral hard and soft tissue regeneration. His work is primarily aimed at the development and application of translational regenerative treatment strategies. Dr. Yilmaz obtained his degree in dentistry from Ege University and completed the Periodontology program at Hacettepe University. His contributions to the periodontal regeneration and plastic surgery field, including publications in journals, have been recognized with international awards. Additionally, Dr. Yilmaz has experience as a private practitioner and has contributed to the advanced surgical education of graduate dentists.
